Name:  Sheri

Birthday:  12/17/78

Current Location:  Delta, Colorado

Eye Color: Hazel

Hair Color:  Brown

Height:  5' 2.5"

Left or Right Handed:  Right

Heritage:  My dad is 100% Dutch and my mom is Irish, German and has a little Cherokee Indian.  That makes me mostly Dutch with a little bit of a stuborn Irish temper and German flair lol.  There's not much Cherokee left to speak of in me, but my skin is a little darker than that of my more Dutch looking siblings with blonde hair and blue eyes, si I must have a little.  :)

Shoes You Wore Today:  flip flops!

Your Weakness:  I'm pretty forgetful.  If something isn't in my routine or written down, it's not good.  :)

Your Fear:  Getting sick and not being able to take care of my children.

Any Superstitions:  nope

The Perfect Meal:  I love stuffed noodles, but rarely make them anymore because my oldest is allergic to dairy which means no cheese.  :(

Drink of Choice:  Diet Pepsi or a Mocha Cappacino

Do You Like Thunderstorms?  Yes!  I'm the ultimate thunderstorm fan!  I used to watch them with my dad growing up.  I wish we got more of them here but I have to say I do like the desert in the winter.  :)

Favorite Movie:  Newsies (an old Disney musical) and The Pursuit of Happiness

What Are You Listening To Right Now?  nothing, the older I get, the more I appreciate the quiet.  Or maybe it's just because I usually have two or three rowdy boys running around.

What Country Would You Like To Visit Most?  Europe!  I love the history and architecture.

Favorite Time Of Day:  After everyone else has gone to bed and it's quiet

Who Was Your Teen Crush?  I don't remember having one.

How Long Have You Digi Scrapped and How Did You Get Started?  I've been digi-scrapping for about 2.5 years.  I decided to try it because I wasn't getting anywhere with my paper stuff having a new baby and a toddler.  It's been an amazing experience.  I love to learn and be creative.  This fits the bill with no mess!

When Do You Scrap?  Whenever I can, but usually late at night.

Last Book You Read:  Magazine - Ranger Rick's latest.  I have a 4 year old animal nut lol.  Oh wait adult material lol?  Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins - the second book in the Hunger Games Trilogy.  Come April 1st, I'll be reading the 3rd book!

3 Of Your Favorite Layouts:  This is a hard one.  I had to make it 4 recent favs...

Favorite Recipe:  Spring is coming so how about Strawberry Lemonade.

10C. Cold Water/Ice
10oz. Strawberry Daiquiri Mix (just the syrup)
1C. Freshly Squeezed Lemon Juice
3/4C. Sugar

Mix in a gallon pitcher.  It's easy and oh so yummy!

Tell Us About Your Family:  I've been married to my husband for 7.5 years now and have 2 boys, Brayden and Rylan ages 2.5 and 4.5.

Do You Roller Skate?  Um, I guess I used to.  I'm not sure I if I would trust myself now thoug lol.  That could be a funny sight.

Best Pizza Topping:  the sauce!

Best High School Experience:  I played varsity soccer all 4 years, was all conference as a freshman and competed nationally with my colorguard winning 7th and 9th in the nation consecutively. 

Best Part of the Past Year:  Watching both my boys start pre-school.  They absolutely love it!

Favorite Teacher:  Mr. Bolhuis - Science teacher or Mr. Bennett - Band teacher

Late Night Snack:  Anything sweet or salty

Sports:  Soccer and, by default because my husband is a coach, basketball and cross country

Favorite Color To Wear:  I love variety but this winter I did buy a lot of black and white.

Do You Start A Page With Photos Or A Kit?  Even if I'm working with a CT kit, I start with the pictures.  I always look to see what photos I have to go with a kit.  I have to build my layout around the photos.

What's Your Favorite Kit of All?  I have absolutely no idea!  I have way too many kits and work with great designers and stores.

How Many Hours Do You Scrap Each Week?  I will never admit.  I'm in denial and my husband can never know the truth lol.  I just don't want to count.  Let's just say a lot.  He jokingly says he's turning me into one of those addiction shows.

Do You Do Any Other Crafts?  I love just about any craft and knitting.

Share Your Favorite Photo:  Pumpkin patch photos are usually my favorite!

Who Do You Admire?  My grandparents.  I learn a lot about life when I talk with them and learn about their lives.

What's Your Job Title?  I'm a learning specialist tutor which is a fancy title for special education teacher in our community homeschool program.

Guilty Pleasure?  a coffee from the coffee shop - I always feel a little guilty for spending money at the coffee shop.

Phobias:  Mice, they give me the major shivers.

Celebrity Crush:  I really just don't even give this any thought lol.

Anything Else We Should Know About You?  I'm a bit of a perfectionist.  Oh wait, you probably already knew that.  :)
